After threatening to end a factory slowdown by murdering hundreds of Czech workers, a Nazi tyrant is shot. The desperate killer, a member of a Czech resistance group, narrowly escapes capture. As he tries to elude the Gestapo he struggles with his impulse to give himself up as Nazi hostages are executed.
